EAGLES WRESTLING WEEK OF 12/28

TUESDAY: MVC WRESTLE OFFS @ Club 6:30pm
TUESDAY: Practice after wrestle offs 6:30-8:30pm
FRIDAY : Practice at the Club from 6:30 - 8:30 pm
SATURDAY: MVC TRI-MEET @ Nashua South 12:30

MVC Wrestle Offs- ALL wrestlers will be at the Club for 6:30 pm ready to wrestle. This is NOT an optional practice. Last week we sent 7 Elm Street wrestlers to the MVC TEAM and this week I would like to see a couple more. We could be the Back Bone for this team if we try hard.

**MVC TRI-MEET info: ALL WRESTLERS and I repeat ALL WRESTLERS WILL be @ Nashua South @ 12:30 pm for set up and warm ups. We are hosting this event and need all available help from the team and their parents. This will be High School type format and takes a lot of effort by ALL. Nashua has not lost a meet yet in the MVC league and hopes to continue its reign.

CONDITIONING ON YOUR OWN: 1 hour/day during vacation.

On Januuary 8th we have our next Dual Meet @ Pennichuck M/S. We are still looking for drivers to help get the team there. So far I have only 2 drivers, I need to know who can help out and how many can you bring. Thank you COACH HERB

EAGLES ALL PLACE AT THE TYNGSBORO HOME BY HALFTIME BIG RED TOURNEY

ELM STREET WRESTLING EAGLES put all 5 wrestlers into medal contention at this weekends Tyngsboro "HOME BY HALTIME"Big Red Tourney. We also took 5 other Nashua wrestlers who placed in the medal round as well. They went 10 for 10 in bringing home the hardware.

EAGLES WRESTLING Week Of 12/21 & 12/28

During the upcoming school vacation all wrestlers should be self conditioning for 1 hour each day. Dont come back to practice unprepaired as I will be able to tell who was GOOD or NAUGHTY.

WEEK OF 12/21

MONDAY - Practice 3-5 pm
TUESDAY - Practice @ Club 6:30-8:30 pm. ALL wrestlers should come, it is a short week.
SUNDAY - Big Red - Home By Half Time Tourney- rescheduled from 12/20.. Cost $ 15 at the door. Weigh ins @ 7:30 am. This Tourney has Novice and Select divs. ALL should go especially the NEWBIES. Please email mail coach Herb as to your intentions (yes/no) asap as it will fill up soon.

REMEMBER - Self Conditioning during the school vacation... 1 hour each day.
TUESDAY - MVC wrestle offs @ Club 6:30 pm. ALL should attend and practice afterwards.
SATURDAY - MVC Meet @ Nashua South 12pm. ALL WRESTLERS need to be there as we are hosting this event and will need to help with set up. ANY PARENT who would like to assist is more than welcome also. This Meet will be our first home meet of the season, lets get all the friends, neighbors and relatives here for this one. It is quite the show. High School style wrestling.

NASHUA MVC TEAM WINS IN MELROSE EAGLES SOAR @ HOLIDAY TOURNEY

The NASHUA MVC SQUAD continued their dominance by defeating North Andover 33-32 in the season opener. Elm Street filled 7 of the 16 wrestling weight classes and helped the team in all 7. Gaining key victories were Jordan Rowlette W 4-2, Cam Bennett WBP, Kyle Ducharme WBP, Dan Bresee W 8-1. Also wrestling and assisting in the victory were Remee Perez, David Muite, Wilson pellot. Wrestling in his debut MVC match was Chris Dube WBP. The next MVC meet will be @ Nashua South on Jan 2nd. All wrestlers are to be there, as we are the hosting team.

MANCHESTER HOLIDAY TOURNEY NOW KNOWS WHO THE ELM STREET EAGLES ARE: The snow didn't keep the Eagles Wrestling Squad from capturing 7 TOP FOUR finishers at this weekends Tourney. All 7 of the grapplers finished the Tourney in the finals of their respective weight classes.

WRESTLING EAGLES HOST FAIRGROUNDS AND RUNDLETT M/S IN TRI-MEET

The ELM STREET WRESTLING EAGLES hosted 2 other teams ia a Tri-meet and the gym was rockin for 2.5 hours of cheering and wrestling. Over all there were 68 individual matches involving 136 kids from Fairgrounds and Rundlett M/S. Elm Street sent 22 wrestlers to the mats and came home with an impressive 18 wins (16 pins) and only 4 defeats. A nice job by all involved.

WRESTLING EAGLES SHINE @ PJ SORA TOURNEY IN LONDONDERRY !!!!

Sunday several members of the Wrestling Team from Elm Street M/S went to Londonderry for the PJ SORA Memorial Tourney. 6 wrestlers made the trip and came home with some nice hardware to show off their efforts.

EAGLES WRESTLING Week Of 12/14

This week is busy right through Sunday.
MONDAY - Tri-meet @ Elm St vs Fairgrounds/Rundlett 3:30 Big Gym.
TUESDAY - MVC Wrestle Offs @ Club 6:30. Optional practice after.
THURSDAY - Practice @ 3 pm sharp in the small gym.
FRIDAY - MVC Opening Tourney In Melrose @ 6pm. Only wrestle off winners need to attend. I beleive we will leave the Boys Club @ 4pm
FRIDAY - Optional practice at the Club @ 6:30 pm
SUNDAY - Manchester Holiday Tourney in Bow NH @ 7am.

Remember to wear your Team t-shirts, singlet and sweatshirts. Long hair = hair net, braces = mouth guards, medicine in platic baggies. All wrestlers need to be in the small gym immediately following the school bell to set up for the Tri-meet.
