EAGLES RACK UP LOTS OF HARWARE AT THE RUNDLETT, PATRIOT DUALS AND MVC CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNEYS
This weekend was the busiest so far for the wrestling EAGLES of ELM STREET. On Saturday the squad split up between the Rundlett and Patriot Duals Tourneys. In Rundlett Chris Dube and Joshua Norman each gathered silver medals in there weight classes with 3-1 records. They each had tough matches along the way and proved to be dominant into the finals. Going to the Patriot Duals were Remee Perez, Cam Bennett, David Muite, Derek Lansil, Kyle Ducharme, John Sweeney, Alkim Dato, Dean Kennedy, Wilson Pellot, Dan Bresee. They took part in a 6 round Dual Meet Tourney were they had 6 matches in 6 hours. The EAGLES helped the NASHUA SQUAD capture a second place finish by beating Danvers, Salem, Plymouth, North Andover, North Attleboro, in the finals they came up short to Maine in a 40-35 loss.
MVC TRAVELING TEAM RUNS WILD and CAPTURES ITS 2ND CONSECUTIVE UNDEFEATED SEASON AND WINS THE 2010 SEASON FINAL CHAMPIOSHIP !!!!!
Wrestling from the Eagles were Cam Bennett 3rd (3-1), Kyle Ducharme 2nd (2-1), John Sweeney 2nd (2-1), Wilson Pellot 4th (2-2), Dan Bresee 3rd (3-1), Mike Small 2nd (1-1). To have this many Eagles representing Nashua says a lot for their dedication and determination to the sport and it is paying off in all these Tourneys. This weekend some of them wrestled up to 9 different times between the 2 Tourneys, and that is alot especially to come back on sunday morning and capture their 2010 season CHAMPIONSHIP !!! CONGRATULATIONS
